Brain Zive and others have brought up the idea of reseeding the teams after
the first round of the NC$$ Tournament such that the #1 team always plays the
lowest seed. Citing the way the NFL does it is fine, but there is one big
problem with this:

NFL TEAMS DON'T PLAY GAMES ON CONSECUTIVE DAYS!

It's bad enough that as the #1 seed, you have to prepare for either the #4 or
the #5 seed and only have a day to do it. But now you want them to prepare for
the 4, 5, or 6 seed? In less than a day? Come on. If there were at least two
days between the first and second rounds, I could see reseeding. But not when
you have to play in less than 24 hours.

This is also a disadvantage to the lower seed who plays the late game on Friday
(or Saturday) and then has to turn around and play the early game on Saturday
(or Sunday) unless the schedule is geared toward them, then the top two seeds
are put "on call." This setup gives a distinct advantage to the 3 and 6 seeds,
who know who they will be playing if they win. The 4 and 5 seeds are left flap-
ping in the breeze.
