UNH took three of four points this weekend with a 3-2 win over BC last
night at Snively Arena. Both netminders, Trent Cavicchi of UNH and Greg
Taylor of BC, played superb. Taylor turned away 30 shots through the
first two periods.
But UNH freshman defenseman Tim Murray's harmless centering pass
from the left point eluded Taylor and snuck just inside the far post for
the eventual game-winner. Eagle Dave Hymovitz made it a 3-2 game,
but the Wildcats held on.
UNH junior defenseman Scott Malone had a strong game, netting two
goals along with the usual hard-hitting style he practices.
