According to the Michigan athletic department, the location
of the game has not been set. Joe Louis Arena and The
Palace are currently both interested in it.

Btw...the game will be an exhibition. However, I've heard
that unlike some exhibitions the teams will refrain from "dressing
everybody". It won't count in the standings, but I'm looking
forward to the most intense exhibition game I've ever seen.

from Deron Treadwell...
>Incidently, this "Hall of Fame Classic" is Michigan's first game of the

>anything like that game that closed last year's season. It will not be
>Maine's first game however, it will be their third.

I'm not sure where Deron heard this, but it's not the case.
I haven't seen Michigan's final schedule, but the Wolverines
will presumably have taken to the ice as many as four times
prior to the Maine game. Following the annual Blue-White
game, Michigan was tentatively scheduled to host Guelph
in mid-October followed by a CCHA series on Oct 20-21.
The Maine-Michigan contest is slated for October 26.

I hope to post a 1995-96 Michigan schedule early next week.
