The College Hockey Discussion List Poll for March 9, 1994:
Teams were given 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for a second-place
vote, and so on down to 1 point for a fifteenth-place vote. Total first-
place votes are in parentheses.
A season-ending slump has finally cost the Michigan Wolverines the #1 spot
in the HOCKEY-L poll, which they had held since November 10th. Boston
University, which trailed by one point last week, moves into the top spot as
the regular season comes to a close. November 10th was also the last time
Clarkson had appeared in the HOCKEY-L top 15, but they reappear this week at
#11.
One note: the records listed below count all Maine forfeits as wins for the
teams involved. This is apparently how it was handled for the Hockey East
teams -- I'm not sure of the situation in the non-league games Maine had to
forfeit.

Once again, HOCKEY-L and the three media polls had the same top 13 teams, in
slightly shuffled order. Wonder who the odd team out come tourney time will
be?

This concludes the regular season; however, I'd like to keep the HOCKEY-L
poll going all the way through the post-season, until an NC$$ champion is
crowned. This seemed to work reasonably well last year, so let's give it a
shot...
