Actually, UMaine won the HE regular season championship based on head-
to-head play (1-0-2) in conference, and as champion has earned an
automatic berth in the NC$$'s.  BU is virtually assured of a berth,
as is UNH.  Incidentally, once again I have cursed someone by writing
something nice about them on here.  Among my victims this season is Jeff
Libby, who was injured the same day that I wrote about what a bright
future he had.  This time it was UNH, who lost their HE Q-Final game
less than 36 hours after I posted about their great season to date.
In light of this "curse", I hereby pledge my support for BU, Lake Superior
State and Wisconsin for the rest of the season  :->
