Despite there being some surprises, there wasn't much change in the
ratings this week. The most notable changes were Michigan dropping to
3rd after losing to Notre Dame, and Brown dropping four places to 16th
after a disappointing weekend. (Notre Dame's win wasn't quite enough
to lift the team out of 40th place: the gap to UAF last week was too
much to overcome.)
 
It's a mystery to me why BGSU and Michigan State "decided" to trade
places. Both teams won twice, and the latter defeated better
opposition. Perhaps the best resolution is to say there's nothing
to choose between two teams rated this close together.
