    I finally remember why it was that USF wasn't picked to go and UK was.
Forget whatever I said earlier, there may have been a player problem that led
to this, but the reason was that USF didn't send in any of their scoresheets
for the season.  My memory was jogged by reading Jim Lawrence's (I think it was
him) post about the Purdue team.  The ACHA uses these sheets to determine
strength of schedule, as well as record.  USF probably doesn't stand much of a
chance in court.  They didn't send in their scores, so they were bypassed.  Now
it could be that the ACHA didn't inform them that they had to send 'em in,
Jim's post showed that organization is not their long suit, but that was why
UK was sent automatically.  I wouldn't mind playing 'em to be more fair, but,
again, why should UK refuse a gift.
