There's an article at <http://uscho.com/news/2002/05/16_004435.php> (I
assume it's not a front-page link because the details are so sketcky)
which implies that the ECAC is considering moving its championship
tournament from Lake Placid to Albany. The hardest information is a
set of quotes from Princeton head coach Len Quesnelle that it was
discussed at last month's Coaches' Meeting in Naples, Florida and
there was a "general consensus" in favor of the idea.
I for one hope this doesn't come to fruition. The ECAC Tournament in
Lake Placid is a magical event, and there's no way Albany could manage
that sort of atmosphere.
