Union picked up a 5-3 non-conference win over Northeastern with a
strong game on Saturday night in Schenectady. Brent Booth scored his
first collegiate goal and Charles Simard scored and had a good game
for Union. Special teams were the only weakness for Union on the
night, with all three Northeastern goals coming on the power play,
while Union converted on only one of seven chances. Overall a solid
return from the break for Union, now 5-5-3 overall.
Union returns to ECAC play next weekend, hosting first-place Harvard
and an improved Brown.
