Hi everybody, while watching the playoffs (NHL), they showed a
highlight of the Sabres/Senators game, with Brian Holzinger (sp?)
making a nifty pass, etc.
When they returned to the main attraction, which is "of course"
Pitt/Phili, Gary Thorne mention that Holzinger is a former Hobey Baker
award winner! I couldn't believe it.
I was really excited that college hockey got a mention. ESPN
generally doesn't mention the college ties of current NHL players,
unlike FOX's Mike Emerick (sp?) (...I mean Dr. Mike Emerick) and The
Deuce's Darren Pang, who is pretty good about mentioning college
hockey programs.
