I apologize, but I have to agree that using last year's data doesn't make
sense. Upwards of half the roster on any given team could be different.
Also --> You originally said the last 20 games should count --> Well, as
far as the NCAA is concerned, it does -- they put more weight on the last
20 games (if not all of it) in their rankings (at least, that's what I understand).
Bottom line -- why don't we wait until February to worry about such
things, if at all?
The great thing about this sport, anyway, and all others beside Div. I-A
football for that matter, is that there's a playoff system to figure
everything out. Maybe I would care more about the rankings if Princeton was
ever in them <G>, but what's the big deal?
