below is a first cut on where teams can finish in the WCHA. It is
based on a team having (say) 4 games left and the possibility of
getting (say) 8 points. It does not take into account secondary
factors like team a and team b are playing, so one of team will get at
least two points. Moreover it does not include tie-breakers
possible points to guarantee place

At this point, only CC is guaranteed home ice, though it certainly
looks like denver and minnesota will host playoff games as well.
It is also likely that wisconsin will be a host as well
this will be the last of these as i'll be away from the net from the
24th until march 3 and by then it should be all sorted out.
I hope karen or one of the other tiger faithful will be kind enough to
post the two USAFA - mankato scores next weekend to keep the data for
the stats programs up to date
