PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Providence College has announced that all 34 men's
hockey games during the 2000-01 season will be broadcasted via the internet
on the PC Athletics Website at www.friars.com. Once again, veteran
broadcaster Mike Logan will serve as the voice of Friar hockey.
Friars.com will broadcast its first game from Schneider Arena on
Friday, October 20, versus Miami University at 7:00 p.m.
The games on the internet will be provided by ESPN.com, the most
popular sports site on the web and FansOnly, the home of the Official
Athletic Sites for the nation's top athletic programs. With ESPN.com and
the FansOnly Network, Providence College hockey fans can keep up with
Friar hockey action by clicking on www.friars.com.
