For the past few years Midwest Sports Channel(MSC)
has shown nearly every Minnesota Gopher game home
or away. The only exceptions have been when the Gopher's
traveled to Alaska-Anchorage or Michigan Tech. I can
understand why MSC chooses not to televise the games
from Alaska given the distance involved and the time zone
differential. But I can't figure out why the games at Michigan
Tech(including this weekend's series) are never shown. When
the Gopher's play Northern Michigan at Marquette MSC always
televises the games but never at Houghton versus Tech. Both
schools are in the upper peninsula of Michigan so distance should
not be an issue. Any ideas?
