Current speculation seems to be that the NC$$ committee will follow its
'rules' and choose at least two teams from each conference. For the ECAC
Clarkson is in by the regular season 'courtesy bid'. Of course if one of
the other 3 teams remaining win the tourney, then they are in.
If Clarkson takes the tourney, there would seem to be a tight race among
several teams which are all close to each other in (the current!) RPICH.
However, it seems that people are forgetting that Vermont still has a fairly
high rating and so to me it would appear that it will be decided by the
tie-breakers among Vermont, Princeton, Brown, and Colgate (if Colgate can
close the gap to within .01 of Vermont, This might be possible by beating
RPI and then just playing a game against a highly ranked Clarkson.)
From Erik:
Rating Percentage Index for College Hockey, compiled by Erik Biever
This report includes the 746 games through 03/12/95 between teams eligible
for the Division 1 tournament.

So it looks like Princeton is sitting well against some of the competition,
How do they do against Vermont?

(The speculative permutations will decrease somewhat tonight :-) (maybe))
