As it's a quiet time of year, I'll try to add a bit of logic (or discuss the
illogic (icity?)
 
I would assume that the auto-logic is that if one assistant coach gets a
courtesy car, they all should, which seems reasonably fair.  Maybe if they
want to help their budgets they should cut out the courtesy cars.
 
This does seem illogical (as Spock would say).  Although it may be somewhat
reasonable to ask that the QUALITY of equipment and uniforms be on an equal
footing among sports, different sports have widely varying basic equipment
costs.  Anyone trying to field a hockey team knows that quite well.
 
My 2 cents towards that cup of coffee.
