Hey, I didn't put the score in the subject line! ( I know that burns
some people's buns)
First, Baby Shep did not do as well as he did last night. IMHO. He
missed some and called some stupid ones on both sides. I am sure the
Badgers were just as confused as the Gophers.
Overall, I think the Gophers controlled the game and just had a little
more zip in their skates. That is until the third period. Wisconsin
put it all on the line and the Gophers were lucky to come out with the
win. There was too much action in the Gopher end the last 10 minutes
for my taste.
It was good to see that we got the majority of the scoring from the
upper classes. It is just too much too ask so many freshman to have to
carry the weight to early on.
I did not care for the fighting. (anyone who knows me should not be
surprised at this statement) The only thing about the physical game is
that those new freshman are not afraid to throw their weight around.
This is a good thing. It accounted for one of the Gopher goals on
Friday. The team needs to pay attention to that.
Well, I have had enough excitement for two days. I need some rest!
Have a great Sunday.
Kathy M.
Go Gophers!
