I like the fact the gophs are all Minnesota boys (or that is what I have
heard). I wish SCSU would try that, or at least all USA. I don't know
if it will improve the quality of their play or not, but I would like to
see it happen some time.

Then why does SCSU have so many Canadian players? (or even one from Sweden)
Between the Gophers and the Huskies sits the top 5 candidates for Mr.
Hockey in Minnesota from last year. What about the UMD Bulldogs? I
haven't heard who there new talent is. When (and if) Mankato comes in as
a D1 school, this will hurt all three of the current D1 teams in MN.
