Hey, it is great to be back in hockey time and hockey land! :-)
I have been a lurker the past few weeks (though, I beleive Vardu
posted an article in hockey-l using my account, recently).
Anyway, I will be at The Palace tomorrow night, somewhere in the
first row of the second deck near mid-ice. Look for a couple of
indian guyss decked in Maine garb and you would have found us
(Vardu is going to be there with me). I hope to run into some
of you H-L'ers.
Sadly, I have not been able to keep up with the hockey news in
recent times (god, I hate my job some times!- I mean, come on,
how can my job interfere with hockey? :-) ). I hope all that will
change from tomorrow.
And while I am here, let me say how sad I was on hearing Roy's
injury. And only last week I had heard on the radio that a
professional hockey player (in Europe?) was killed when another
player's (who was up-ended) skate cut his throat :-(.
Here is hoping that Roy recovers well and soon.
