Not here, but there are two major reasons for that. One, the team is not
playing that well, (perhaps playing well, just not winning) and the other
is the fact that we are well over 400 (Is this right?) miles to a pro hockey
team (Chicago). Actually, now that I think about it, Winnipeg is
probably closer, but still, we don't have a "pro loyalty" here in Duluth.
The Numbers:
1994 11 home games 54266 fans 4933 fans per game
1994-95 projected 19 home games 93732 fans 4933 fans per game
1993-94 20 home games 102709 fans 5135 fans per game
1966-94 546 home games 2662649 fans 4877 fans per game
The Bulldogs have averaged over 5000 fans for 12 consecutive years, and
15 of the last 16, but I think that string is in jeopardy.
