The 1994-95 Central Collegiate Hockey Association kicks-off this weekend with
five league contests. Michigan State entertains UIC twice, while Bowling Green
and Miami square off in a home-and-home series with Friday's game from Bowling
Green being televised nationally as the Prime College Hockey Game-of-the-Week.
Saturday night Western Michigan visits Ohio State in the league opener for both
teams.
Defending CCHA champion Michigan hosts defending WCHA regular season champion
Colorado College in Ann Arbor, with Ferris State and Lake Superior trying to
win the inaugural Mackinaw Cup in their weekend games against Michigan Tech and
Northern Michigan. CCHA affiliate Alaska Fairbanks plays host to Maine for
three games.
