I don't like the 7:00 starting time on Friday nights either. As a teacher
who has (had??) season tickets to the Gophs and living two and a half hours
from the Cities, 7:30 was really nice so that I didn't have to bust my butt
to get to the Cities. I would stop at my friend's place on campus and walk
over to the arena (took care of having to pay parking). From what I heard
from other people and on the radio, families really loved the 7:30 start
time. I guess the U must not care about the fans' opinions. Maybe I just
will have to go with my BSU season tickets and call it good.

Are any other Gopher fans out there ticked off at the
schedule for the 98-99 season? First off, the play at
home 5 out of 6 weekend's in October and November, secondly
they moved the Friday game times back to 7:00 after starting
at 7:30 last year, and worst of all the opening ice-breaker
tourney has a Friday afternoon game starting at 5:00, and
the Mariucci Classic has a Monday game starting at 4:00.
EXCUSE ME!! Some of us have REAL jobs where we have to
take vacation time just to attend these games!! Also,
getting home from work, setting up the babysitter and
getting down to Mariucci by 7:00 on a Friday is nearly
impossible. What gives??
