Needless to say, I was very disappointed at Clarkson's
loss to the Lakers, but if nothing else, the final
score proves that we were a *little* better than
some people were giving us credit for, especially
the guy who said that CHODR's prediction of the
game being a toss-up was way off base. I wish
the Lakers the best of luck; I hope they kick
the stuffings out of BU!!
Also sorry to hear about ECAC brethren RPI losing.
It appears that the first period was really the difference.
The television said the shots on goal in the first period
was something obscene like 29-8 for Minneosta (I'd prefer
to see a box score before swearing to it). Facing ~52
shots in the game, RPI netminder Mike Tamburro must've
played one heck of a game, although I hear Minn.'s Jeff
Callinan played well too.
Go Lakers!
