From the preview in the Star Tribune this morning written by John Gilbert:

The Gophers are 3-1 in their last four games, but 4-5-1 in their last 10.......
...Freshman Andy Brink will get a try at center between Darby Hendrickson and
Craig Johnson, while Brian Bonin will center Jeff Nielsen and John Brill,
Justin McHugh will center Scott Bell and Brandon Steege, and Tony Bianchi will
center Joe Dziedzic and Jed Fiebelkorn on four new lines.....The Gophers lead
the WCHA in first period goals (50), but are last in third period goals (25).

Denver is 6-3-1 in its last 10 games, 6-2 on the road....In the early season
series against the Gophers, senior goalie Brian Schoen of Minnetonka was
shelled in a 7-4 loss but came back with a 2-2 tie.....Last season, he played
a key role in two series splits....Denver will be without Craig MacMillan
(shoulder), Warren Smith (back), and Brian Konowalchuk (suspended).
<end quoted material>

No mention was made of who the Gophers will have in goal. Tonight is team
poster night and tomorrow night the first 1,000 ticketholders will receive an
autographed mini-hockey-stick.

GO Gophers!!!
