Fellow alumnus Dan made some interesting points. Could
this year be the year that the ECAC gets more NC$$ bids
than Hockey East?
Speaking of how the selection cmtte. makes their selection.
Does conference vs conference come into play or does it
just apply to the teams under consideration? For example
Clarkson is 5 - 0 vs HE and 0 - 2 WCHA and 2 - 1 CCHA (2
W's came against Ohio St), and the ECAC is dominating
conference play against HE, but falters against the West.
Just 6 weeks or so left, 12 games max. Looking at the
East, does anyone wonder when somebody will step up &
take charge and stake clear claim to #1? Michigan, unless
they fall on their face, look to be #1 West.
Side thought - of all the games Prime COULD have made
Game of the Week, why did they pick UMich vs UAF? I
turned the darn thing off after 1 pd and later then turned to
CNN-SI to see what the final carnage was. There had to be
better games, like MSU - LSSU. Any insight why??
