Non hockey news of interest for Carol Erik from Minn and Steve from NMU
Our High school Football team finished the regular season 9-0 with a
44-0 victory saturday, outscoring their opponents 395 to 40 for the season
The playoffs start next friday at 3:30 PM Against the same opponent we
just beat 44-0 in The Superior Dome in Marquette. Steve if your not
busy stop down and join us! I'll be wearing a Lakes football hat,
and Sweatshirt, along with about 2,500 other people! ;-). Seriously
let me know if your gonna stop in and we'll plan on meeting somewhere.
Any one else from Marquette on the list interested in a good football game
just yell and we can get together. Lets see 3:30 start time, I should
be back in houghton about 1/2 way thru the 1st period of the MTU Wisc
hockey game, to kick someone outa my seats! ;-)
