Although I wasn't there in person (but was in Lake Placid in 1984 to
witness BGSU's 4OT Championship victory), I'll quickly submit for consid-
eration the 1985 Phinal Phour, where - if I recall correctly - 3 of the 4
games (still a 3rd place game then) went into OT, several of the multiple
OT variety. This was Part II of Chris Terierri's (sp) incredible two week
run of incredible pressure goal-tending, starting first by backstopping
PC's 2 OT victory vs. BC in the inaugural HE championship, then another
Providence OT victory in the semi-finals before losing to RPI in the
Championship game (who went 3 OTs in *their* semi-final) .... I'm sure
the RPI contingent can fill in the details :-)
