According to the stats compiled, teams that have excelled in one area are as
follows:
 
 
Most Titles:  Michigan (7)
              (a few tied with 5)
 
Most Final Game Appearances:  (tie) Michigan 9
                              Minnesota 9
 
Most Final 4 Appearances:  Boston University (17)
                           Mich/Minn (tie) (15)
 
Most Tourney Appearances:  Minnesota (21)
                           Boston University (20)
 
 
 
Well, over history, Michigan, Minnesota, and Boston University seem to garner
most of the awards for excellence in one level of achievement.
 
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how one looks at it), both BU and
Minnesota, while excelling to and in the tourney, have each won only 3 titles.
 
 
 
Just some inane analysis of inane factoids.
