A CHN alert just came out talking about Brian Elliot missing on the chance
to be only the 3rd goaltender to win a Hobey. They mention that he didn't
win the award with the following quote:

Elliott was certainly a deserving candidate, having posted impressive totals
in leading his Badgers into the National Championship game.

During the broadcast of the BC game, the announcers made mention of how
Chris Collins' play could only help in his bid to win the Hobey.

I was under the impression that the voting for the Hobey Baker award was
completed before the NCAA tournament began so tournament play could help nor
hinder the final outcome. Is that not the case any more?
