> A further note on the legality of ticket scalping:
There is fine print on the back of the NCAA Frozen Four tickets ...
tiny tiny tiny fine print. Some portions contain ...
* This ticket is a revocable license.
They can toss you out for cause.
* No smoking. No transmitting information about event.
I was going to tell you about the games, but I don't want them to
confiscate my ticket.
* Sponsors may use your likeness (take and use your picture).
* Any non-licensed individual who resells this ticket at a premium may
be subject to arrest and prosecution under Massachusetts law.
* Items that reflect good sportsmanship that can be held by one
individual and do not block the view of other ticket patrons may be
permitted.
* The ticket may not be offered as a prize in a sweepstakes or contest
unless authorized in advance.
(There are many more provisions but my eyes are too tired to see them).
Not mentioned specifically on the ticket: you must wear a shirt at all
times. In most cases, that's a good rule :-)
Best regards to Karen for a terrific Hockey-L Dinner!
Cheers to all the great folks that I had a chance to chat with in
Beantown. Sorry to miss you Chris, Steve, Geoff, Jack, Mike, Dave, etc.
Special thanks to all who went out of their way to show their fondness
for the lists, and especially to James Bradshaw for his southern
hospitality! Maybe we can keep doing this for a while more. :-)
