Speaking from the great white North the only College hockey coverage we
see in the Upper Peninsula are CCHA games on PASS and an occasional ECAC
game on the Prime Network which overlaps on the PASS station. For the
life of me I cannot understand why ESPN does not show a college hockey
game of the week, where they could show coverage from the ECAC, CCHA and
WCHA alternating weekend after weekend. There are 2 ESPN stations now
and every one is flooded with college basketball right down to
highschool. I know ESPN use to televise games in the mid to early
1980's., they could certainly show regular season games with their
technology instead of just the final championship game. In my opinion
the best source for news is the program College Hockey USA, probably
because it is the only one.
