Indy's right that the Blaine (Are they also the Bears? They had similar school colors, too boot.) band playing for Maine one year.
During the playoffs on-campus days, there was a team (Providence?) that had another college band (U-Conn?) in town for a basketball regional play for a hockey game in old Mariucci. I recall noticing that the band seemed rather clueless about hockey and was therefore unsurprised to learn later that it was a bball pep band from a school without DI hockey.
