St. Lawrence University capitalized on superior size and speed to beat
the Colby White Mules in a ECAC Division III game at Canton, N.Y.
Colby is 5-6 and St. Lawrence 3-4-1.
Laura Iorio scored Colby's only goal from Jenny Alfond at 6:47 of the first
period.
Michel Amidon, with a hat trick, scored twice in the second period as St.
Lawrence pulled ahead, 4-1.
St. Lawrence added three goals in the first eight minutes of the third
period and Erin Regan ended the scoring with her second goal at 10:14.
Shawn Gager handled 35 saves for Colby. Kelly Picard stopped 11 shots
for St. Lawrence.
