It appears that I'm (much to my chagrin) making it something of a habit
of sticking my foot in my mouth :-( Since the Eastern Regional broadcasts
utilized Bob Norton (from NESN) as their color guy (but with a differing
play-by-play man, which I didn't think was all that unusual given NESN's
other committments for its broadcasters - namely Red Sox spring training),
I *assumed* (thereby making an ass, etc. :-) that NC$$ Productions had
similarily picked up the MSC guys for the Western Regional broadcasts. As
Erik noted, I have egg on my face this morning, but that in no way detracts
from my earlier comments re: what a terribly unprepared, clueless lot
these two dolts were. How can the NC$$ expect the sport to grow beyond
its perceived provincialism if it inflicts the likes of these two buffoons
on us for some of its showcase games ?!!?
Eagerly anticipating a GREAT TIME in Cincinnati - Jim
