During tonites UIC-Michigan game an incident happened that on which
I would like a clarification. Duing the second period, The michigan goalie's
stick was broken in 2 and play continued on for several minutes while he
used the broken stick. After the whistle infact instead of one of his
players bringing him a new stick, it was the linesman.
We were under the inpression that you are not allowed to play with a broken
stick. Is this correct? Is there an exception for goaltenders? Or is this
just myth?
