Just a quick, but cheering note - Former Wildcat hockey star Steve
Bozek, who played in the majors for several years after his time with
NMU, graduated from the College of Business this fall summa cum laude.
(As I was sitting on the stage at commencement waiting for my turn to
hand out diplomas to graduates, the business dean leaned over and
pointed Bozek's name in the program out to me, and commented, "He is
incredibly sharp!")
 
It's nice to know no matter how well they do with their sport, a lot of
players realize their education is also important, important enough to
finish--whether sooner or later.
