   HANOVER, N.H. (AP) -- Princeton reacted to an unusual stoppage in play
with
five straight goals for a 5-1 ECAC hockey victory over Dartmouth on Friday
night.
   The Tigers (6-6-3, 3-4-3) have won or tied in seven of their last eight
games, while the Big Green (2-8, 1-4) has lost five in a row.
   Dartmouth took a 1-0 lead at 13:53 of the first period on Mike Stacchi's
goal, and Dartmouth students pelted the ice with tennis balls and fruit.
   The officials sent the teams to their locker rooms while the ice was
cleaned
and resurfaced, and then the teams played the remaining 6:07 of the first
period
and the 20 minutes of the second period without a break.
   Princeton scored four goals during the 26:07, and added another goal in
the
final period.
   Jonathan Kelley had a goal and two assists, Ethan Early and Tony Ranaldi
each
had a goal and an assist, and John Fust and J.P. O'Connor each had a goal.
 
   DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -- Mike Sullivan scored two goals and Mike Heinke
turned
away 40 shots to lead New Hampshire to a 6-3 victory over Merrimack in
Hockey
East play Friday night.
   Sullivan opened the scoring at 3:58 of the first period, and added
another
goal as the Wildcats (14-3-1, 5-2-1) scored three decisive goals in the
second
period.
   Eric Boguniecki scored first, then Sullivan in the first 3:38, and after
Cooper Naylor scored for Merrimack, Ted Russell made it 4-1 on a breakaway.
   Merrimack (8-9-1, 1-6-1) got within two twice in the final period on
goals by
Claudio Peca on a breakaway and Rob Atkinson around a goal by New
Hampshire's
Nick Poole. But Dean Woodman closed the scored for the Wildcats with an
empty
net goal at 18:58.
