Summary:

Union won again Saturday to push their record to 2-0, with a 7-3 win
at Army. The Dutchmen were led by ECAC Rookie of the week Troy
Stevens who had a goal and 2 assists, Cory Holbrough, who scored the
first 2 Union goals, and goaltender Mike Gallant, who finally put
together a good effort on a night when his team scored him some goals
for his first Collegiate win. Gallant was 0-19 over his first 2
seasons at Union. This is Union's first 2-game winning streak since
moving up to Division I in the 1991-92 season. The Dutchmen are 2-0-0
overall and have yet to play a league game. Union has not started 2-0
since 1988, when they upset RPI at Achilles Rink. Union will start
ECAC play this weekend with the North Country trip to Clarkson and St.
Lawrence.
