Maine has also at times had forwards playing the point... this year
Montgomery has played the point on the first unit, with Kariya,
Ingraham, and Fenton up front, and MacIsaac (basically a defenseman)
also playing the blue line...
 
But...
 
5 forwards? It's been my observation that it's just as hard for a
forward to "learn" how to play "defenseman" defense as it is for
a defenseman to "step up"...  Does he do it all of the time, or just
against less offensive-minded penalty killing units?
