Sure the college game is faster, but many, many freshmen excel right away in
college, then get even better later on.  Bottom line is, even with having to get
"used to it" Elliott is better than the other two. Period.  The same couldn't be
said for Duffus, at least not to the same degree.
 
As for recruits, Princeton only lost two players also.  But they recruited six.
As a matter of fact, I'd bet 3 is the least amount of players recruited in the
country.  I'll bet McCutcheon would even agree that he would have liked more.
 
If you still can't see that Elliott is the better goalie, NOW, and that 3
recruits ain't gonna cut it (I don't care how many people graduated) then I
can't help you.  What happens next year, when you're left with a lot more holes
due to graduation and you only have 3 sophomores?  Are you gonna play a bunch of
new freshmen still trying to get acclimated to the speed of college <G>?
