I only caught the last ten minutes of the game, but was I ever glad
I did. It was 4-1 Brown at the time. Colgate coughed up the back in their
own zone giving Brown a 5-1 lead. Then, it all started. With 2:56 left in
the game, the Red Raiders ignited the few loyal fans still remaining in
Starr Rink. The momentum seemed to shift almost instantly as Colgate
tallied three more to tie the score at 5 with 6 skaters and a mere 14 seconds
left on the clock.
This miraculous comeback left Brown in awe as Colgate shifted into
a higher gear going into overtime. It was inevitable, after a tight checking
three and a half minutes or so, Colgate capitalized on a 2-1, completing one
of the greatest comebacks I have ever seen (being from Montreal, that is
quite impressive :-) ). Anyway, no names or box scores to report, sorry
but this is just a quick game summary.
