The game on Saturday Dec 8. between Harvard and RPI was almost a
repeat of the Harvard-Colgate game played the previous week.
Harvard would go up a goal and RPI would tie it, Harvard would
go up again and RPI would come back to tie again (it was never
6-1 Harvard). Finally RPI went ahead late in the third period, but
Donato sent the game into overtime with a blast from the right faceoff
circle with 5 seconds left. RPI scored early (less than a minute in)
in the OT to send the Harvard fans home disappointed. Vukonich scored
two goals for Harvard, giving him 7 in the last three games. I don't
know who scored the winning goal, as the PA announcer was drowned out
by the RPI crowd. I thought Harvard and RPI looked fairly well matched.

In the friday game Harvard played very poorly but walloped Vermont 8-1 (2?).
I think that the Vermont team must have the softest shots in the
entire league. But Kearney has a nice bright green aluminum stick!
