How could Don Lucia not allow a player participate in such a tournament?
One would think that representing his country in an event as prestigious
as this would be a huge objective for a young player. Jack Parker has
said that every player of his who has gone to the World Juniors came
back a better player. Of course, if the Gophers fail to dress two
goalies for a game, they are assessed a 2-minute minor at the start of
the game.
Could you imagine a goalie named Frazee playing in Boston? Yeesh.

The Gophers may also lose Chucko to the Canadian team. He's one of the
34 players invited to the tryouts.
