 From this morning's 1/6/92 Bangor Daily News:
 
 Mike Bavis scored 2 goals and John McKersie made 18 saves as BU defeated
Bowdoin 6-1 in Brunswick Saturday. BU, ranked 9th in this week's Albany,NY
Times-Union College Hockey Poll, improved its record to 12-4. David Sacco and
Bavis each had 1st period goals for the Terriers, while Marcello Gentile later
put Bowdoin on the board to cut the lead to 2-1, BU. Doug Friedman scored the
only goal of the 2nd period to put BU ahead 3-1 before Bavis, Mike Pomichter,
and Steve Thornton all added goals in the 3rd to make the final score 6-1.
Darren Hersh had 37 saves for Bowdoin.
