Hey, I only catch around six games a year; I have
to make up for it somehow. This one'll be short before I
head off to the North Country for more hockey.

Sounds like Cornell's difficulties at the Denver
Cup last year. At least the Warriors didn't suffer the
same fate (an 11-0 loss to CC).

I appreciated the fact that the PA announcer
provided that explanation at the time. (At least we can
say *something* nice about him.)

When it first happened, my impulse was "Hey,
they're holding up the game, they'd better be charged a
timeout. Then Mark mentioned the injury analogy, and I
had to agree with Pooley.

It was more noticeable from ice level, especially
on the play that led to their coincidental minors. I
couldn't help wondering if the Providence players had
heard from their Terrier counterparts about Bergin's DQ at
BU last November. (Then again, maybe I was looking for it
after being at that game.)

We could start a whole side discussion on whether
intimidating the opposition is even the point...
