I finally had a moment to watch some of the Michigan-Wisconsin
game on tape last night, and noticed the following:
My backside made a brief appearance following Mike
Knuble's second goal. [That was me in the yellow Knuble
jersey.]
Erik and Paula Biever are shown clear as day! Clad in
a pin-adorned Gopher hat, Erik looks right at the camera.
The announcers mumble something about the Gopher
fans already getting set for the next game [Minn-MSU].
If you have a tape of the game, I *believe* this was late
in the second period.
Vancouver Canucks GM Pat Quinn was interviewed in the
crowd during the third period. [I saw PQ outside, smoking
a big cigar, before the game.] He was there scouting two
1994 Canuck draft picks, Bill Muckalt and Robb Gordon...
a pair of Wolverine freshmen from British Columbia. Now,
Quinn supposedly drafted this local pair, traveled to see
them and had been watching them for approx 50 minutes
...but he referred to them as "Muckalt and Gibson". Sit back,
relax and have another one, Mr Quinn. :-)
