The 1994 CCHA Awards Banquet was held at the Westin Hotel in Detroit last
night. Some awards which have not yet been posted on Hockey-L were:
 
Player-of-the-Year   David Oliver - Michigan
Rookie-of-the-Year    Brendan Morrison - Michigan
Leading Scorer - David Oliver - Michigan
Offensive Defenseman - John Gruden - Ferris State
Defensive Defenseman - Brent Brekke - Western Michigan
Defensive Forward - Mike Stone - Michigan
Goaltender - Blaine Lacher - Lake Superior
Coach-of-the-Year   Red Berenson - Michigan
 
Craig Lisko, Ferris State, received the Terry Flanagan Memorial Award. This
award is named for the Bowling Green assistant coach was passed away in
December 1991 after a bout with cancer and is given to an upperclassman who has
overcome some type of personal adversity and is active on the university
campus, as well as in the surrounding community.
