You might be surprised at the level of ignorance/lack of knowledge about
this issue on the part of young players in Canada (or at least
Manitoba).  I went on a recruiting trip in June to Winnepeg and was
amazed at the number of parents who didn't realize that they would
forfeit their son's USA college hockey career if they allowed him to
play Major Junior A.
