Actually, short of seeing the Penn State Icers actually become a varsity
sport someday, I'd like to see the current NCAA Teams all become part of the
American Collegiate Hockey Association.  Yes, I realize that the ACHA is an
organzation for club hockey, but there are plenty of really good schools in
the ACHA (Penn State, North Dakota State, Michigan-Dearborn, Arizona, etc.)
that could be Division I caliber if they were allowed to offer scholarships
to attract even better players...
 
It's something to think about, anyway....
 
I'll be back later with some thoughts about the Icers as they prepare to start
the 1993-94 season tomorrow night....
