I was at the Field House that night but I'm sorry to say that I wasn't
     paying enough attention to the early game (as you might guess, I
     wasn't there to see Maine-Vasby) to have seen the puck go in the net.
     It was an innocent looking flip by Tortorella and others around me
     indicated that the Vasby goalie for some reason did not have his stick
     on the ice....the puck slid right under it and into the net.
 
     I remember Maine's big defenseman (Aubut?).  He was one hell of a good
     player.  Something in the back of my mind tells me that he was first
     team all tournament....and might have been the MVP.  It was mentioned
     here a few months back that he had an accident on the ice and was in
     serious condition.  Does anyone have an update?
